Multi Media Project Research For Semester 2

For this semesters project I've decided to do a narrative/story based game which as an incentive on the choices you make with different paths.

My inspiration for this is a game called the Stanley Parable. The Stanley Parable is a game about, well Stanley, walking around his office job trying to find out where all the other employees have gone as they all but disappeared. It is driven by an overhanging narrator who tells the story of what is the 'meta' storyline and changes when you make a choice, like when you stand in a broom closet for 15 minutes the narrator starts contemplating life and how nothing on the outside matters after another 15 minutes has passed.

I would like to explore this highly experimental way of story telling in unity for this project. I've thought about this and decided that this will be a solo project and all responsibility falls on me for not meeting the marks I'm going to set.

The Stanley Parable contains 19 endings with even more sub branching story arcs and little Easter Eggs hidden within that contain inside joke. There's an a achievement in the game for not playing it for 5 years. Here's a link to the games trailer if you're interested and this will give you a taste at want I want to make similar to and inspired by.
