Technology Tips About Tools

Given this day and age for college students or people how know enough about tech I'm familiar with all of the web tools well be using except Graphics Creation tools like Canvas or Cheezburger, also Padlet and Unity3D; but well be learning about that in week 2.

For the course websites, I'm extremely familiar with Moodle(I don't know why they changed it) and Google Docs. I didn't know well be getting our own wiki as this will come in handy down the line. Book marking the Wiki and the Calendar were a must now I'm ready to learn.

    Hey Shane! Totally agree, I also have no idea why they changed Moodle to be honest! I'm also unfamiliar with a lot of the new technology that we will be using, but thankfully we should learn about it all soon, very excited for that. Personally I think it's great we will be able to use all these different bits of technology and software, it could come in handy if you look for a profession in this module after college!

Final GDD

In This blog I will be talking about how I'm going to implement my project for the rest of the year and finalizing my GDD. Game GDD Zeno Clash Link Here In my GDD I've written up some more points but left some to be desired as I think graphics should come second to mechanics and game flow but should not be forgotten and community feedback would help steer this project into a better direction. To begin with I've already begun on the game itself and am in the midst of placing the codes where I want them. These will set the foundation for what I will be building off of. In the next following weeks I will be moving along with the project by implementing my character and fighting scripts, testing, fixing and changing o better suit the needs of the games flow and aesthetic. During this I will also be giving some basic textures to the terrain as I want to focus most of my time into the game itself and getting the mechanics nailed down first before giving it a lick of pain

Organization and Time Strategies

S ome thoughts on time management strategies; Is that the best management of your time is to build it around you and your work instead of just your work. This works for me and give me enough time to work as well as work on other projects and have some time to myself. I feel that I can apply this to this module but will reacquire some tinkering when working with web design and group projects.
