Description: When you step into this world you will have to fight to survive in a place where a persons strength is all that matters. From moving and interacting with the world to engaging on 1 vs 1 and many against you battles to prove that you are here to stay.
By fighting you will learn how to use moves and when best to engage an opponent and execute combos to win fights. And by exploring you will learn different moves to use and unlock more throughout the game.
In this you could bait out an attack from your opponent and then punish by executing a devastating combo to make him remember not to mess with you. Another could be you engaging then doing a feint but being caught out on it so only a straight forward fight will happen leading to clash of attacks.

Key features

  • Advanced Combat System: [Redacted] will have a combat system where you choose how to fight and is similar to a game in of its own 'For Honor'.
  • Exploration: Where you explore has an impact on how you fight, Like snow or rain will slow you down, and what kind of moves you can acquire and learn.
  • Chain-less combos: Where a move can link into another move that flows with the previous so a change in your 'flow' can impact you fighting potential.
Genre: First Person, Action Adventure, Fighting, Post-Apocalyptic game.

Game Play: The game play would flow along a narrative story as well as player driven, meaning that the player can decide on their own contexts and stories for characters in the game. As described above, it will be melee oriented and have a big look into flow and rhythm of a fight.

Platforms: PC (Could expand to console if given enough time)

Target Market: The target market would be aiming at those who are interested and like the idea of a first person fighting game and have enjoyed games like this such as 'For Honor' and 'Absolver'. It would be aimed at people over the ages of 16 as the violence would be brash and very upfront as its in a first person perspective.

Top Performers and Comparison: As of 2017 a breakdown of the most popular video game genres was done and Fighting games only had 6% of their share of units sold, and these were mostly 'Street Fighter V' and the remake of 'Killer Instinct'. A small number of these were for 'Tekken'. These could be played on PC, console and on some portable consoles like the switch. Their numbers for each platform favored the consoles and the controls were simpler and consoles are a lot more likely to be in a house hold instead of a gaming PC. Out of the best grossing games in 2018, no fighting games were in the 10 for either PC or console, including mobile.
